This new project by Alba Careta Group, “Alades”, is the compilation of the latest compositions by the trumpeter from Avignon inspired by the experiences of her years in Holland, and which now take shape in this new work through the most sincere, organic and emotional jazz language. In a way, “Alades” is a kind of continuation of “Orígenes” (Blue Asteroid Records, 2018) and closes its Dutch-inspired period. “The longing to live far from home, the curiosity to know where life will take us, and the desire to be next to the people I love most, are some of the feelings that you can find in the new album.”Alba Careta Group, “Alades”, és el recull de les últimes composicions de la trompetista avinyonenca inspirades en les vivències dels seus anys a Holanda, i que ara prenen forma en aquest nou treball a través del llenguatge del jazz més sincer, orgànic i emocional. En certa manera, “Alades” és una mena de continuació de “Orígens” (Blue Asteroid Records, 2018) i tanca la seva etapa d’inspiració holandesa. “L’enyor de viure lluny de casa, la curiositat per saber on ens portarà la vida, i les ganes d’estar al costat de les persones que més m’estimo, són alguns dels sentiments que podeu trobar al nou disc”.

A recording as surprising, fresh and motivating as their debut album, but more mature, more daring and more rounded. It collects some of the compositions inspired by impressions and experiences that have remained with her, from all these years away from home, a period of life that was so important for Alba and so creatively fruitful. All the compositions are originals of the trumpeter, except the very inspired and beautiful version of the “Corrandes d'exili” by Pere Quart. Very diverse themes, but all very interesting, with the common denominators of freshness, energy and the intensity with which they are played: "I play and compose from my experiences trying to reach the people around me." Recull algunes de les composicions inspirades a partir d’impressions i experiències que li han quedat, de tots aquest anys lluny de casa, una època vital tan important per a l’Alba i tan fructífera creativament. Temes molt diversos, però tots molt interessants, amb els denominadors comuns de la frescor, l’energia i la intensitat amb què es toquen: “toco i composo a partir de les meves experiències intentant arribar a les persones que m’envolten”.
